Two men died in an accident in Midlands

Two people died after an accident on the R56 just before Thornville in the Natal Midlands this morning.

Reports indicate that the vehicle with two occupants veered off the road hitting a pedestrian before their vehicle overturned.

The exact details of the cause of the accident are not known at this stage and the police are investigating.

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha said when paramedics got onto the scene the two people had died already.
