Sisters are doing it for themselves #COP17

Two strong headed females from a Non-Governmental Organisation called WAGGS hopes negotiators will take the responsibility and step forward to make the right decisions on behalf of their people.

Mia Hex and Fizele Nbu believe that communities face the consequences of climate change the most since they do not have the tools to handle the situation.

Hex said that capacity building needs to be built in order for young people to adapt and make a change.

Nbu said she thinks that women are more affected by climate change than men because women in rural areas perform domestic tasks that hinder their leadership abilities. #COP17
