Unfavourable conditions throughout the country

South Africans all over the country are experiencing some unfavourable conditions.

The Gauteng region has been hit by some thunderstorms and lightning. All this led to trains being delayed in certain areas because lines were cut off by lightning.

The Western Cape has been engulfed by some runaway veld fires due to extreme heat. The vegetation on the Tulbagh and Wolseley mountains have been completely destroyed by fires.

The weather services  in Western Cape has warned that the conditions are expected to remain like this the whole month of January.
