The Gauteng Department of Community and safety are urging commuters, taxi drivers and vendors to come forward with any information regarding the sexual assault of two teenagers.

The assault happened last week Friday at the Noord Street taxi rank. The girls were pushed and touched by a group of men for wearing mini-skirts.

There was a similar incident that also occurred a few years ago.

The department has since started road blocks and raids around the taxi rank in order to improve safety for commuters.
