The Red Cross Air Mercy Services has refused to reveal any information about the use of a medical helicopter by KZN Health MEC Sibongiseni Dhlomo.

The Democratic Alliance met with CEO Phillip Erasmus this week, to discuss the release of the information.

Democratic Alliance’s Patrica Kopane said they were informed of a secrecy clause preventing the Red Cross from releasing information about Dhlomo’s flight on the 3rd of November.

“What we want as the Democratic Alliance is the full disclosure about what happened, I also wrote a letter to the Emergency Medical Rescue Services Director Sithole and Operations Manager Busi Mabaso because they are the two people who would have given permission to Dhlomo”   Kopane added.
