The Democratic Alliance will today announce further steps that the DA
will be taking with regard to Deputy National Director of Public Prosecutions,
Nomgcobo Jiba.
This follows President Zuma’s failure to accede to the DA’s request to
institute an inquiry into her fitness to hold the office of a Deputy NDPP.
Spokesperson to the DA leader, Mabine Seabe said, “The National
Prosecuting Authorities is a key institution system in the legal justice
system. As such it should be an institution that is run well and unpoliticized.”
