A woman in her 30’s is in a
critical condition after she was hit by a vehicle in the early hours of the
morning on the R41 in Kagiso, West of Johannesburg.
ER24 Spokesperson Russel Meiring
reported, ER24 paramedics were called to the scene by provincial services, and
on arrival, found the patient being treated by paramedics.
On further assessment, paramedics
found the patient had sustained a serious injury to her head and legs.
“Treatment and advanced life
support interventions were performed on the patient before she was transported
to Johannesburg General Hospital for further treatment” Meiring added.
The vehicle that apparently hit
the woman was not found on the scene.
Local authorities were on scene
for further investigation.
