Two left dead in Tokai after a motorbike and cycle collide

Two men were killed this morning after a motorbiker and cyclist collided on the Tokai on-ramp off the M3 in Cape Town.

ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said “ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the two male patients lying on the grass embankment next to the road. On assessment, paramedics found that the male cyclist had already succumbed to his multiple fatal injuries. Nothing more could be done for the patient and he was later declared dead on the scene.”

He also added, the male biker was found near the scene. Metro services performed CPR and advanced life upport. ER24 paramedics assisted as well but were unable to revive him


The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
