Milnerton Police arrested two foreign nationals for possession of drugs worth R 500,000 after being alerted in the area on Tuesday.
According to the police`s spokesperson Ndakhe Gwala, the two
male suspects aged between 37 and 45, were arrested and detained at Milnerton
SAPS.
“Members
of the Milnerton Crime Prevention Unit received information about a suspicious
vehicle driving from Parklands to Cape Town on Tuesday.”
“They parked and were performing observation duties at
Lagoon Beach around mid-day, when they spotted the vehicle and pulled it
over. A search was conducted which led to the confiscated of tik and cocaine
worth R500 000 and an undisclosed amount of cash,” Gwala said.
The duo will appear in the Goodwood Magistrate’s court,
once they have been charged.
