Minister of Police, Bheki Cele, commended law enforcement agencies for their effective handling of disruptions during the election process. He assured the public of continued peace and security post-election, stating, "The NATJOINTS have confirmed to the security cluster ministers of their readiness to ensure continued peaceful environment post the election results declaration."

National Commissioner, General Sehlahle Fannie Masemola, provided statistics on incidents during the election period. He said that law enforcement had dealt with 130 cases and arrested 90 individuals, primarily for electoral act violations.

Minister of Defence, Thandi Modise, emphasized the government's stance on maintaining constitutional order and peace, dismissing concerns over potential unrest raised by former President Jacob Zuma. She underscored lessons learned from past incidents, ensuring that the country's defense forces are equipped with cutting-edge technologies to bolster their capabilities.

Minister Cele assured the government's commitment to upholding the law and ensuring public safety, warning that any threats to peace would be handled decisively by law enforcement agencies.
