The Western Cape Department of Education said it is 65 days to go until the class of 2013 sit down to write their National Senior Certificate Examinations.

Ministerial Spokesperson Bronagh Casey said the mock exams which will be written in September are very important as learners will be able to assess their weak subjects and improve for the final exams.

Casey said that they will be analysing their September mock exams very closely and the department will then be providing them with subject specific support to schools, specifically under performing schools.

“We are also looking forward to conducting spring schools during the September holiday period to also support our matriculants before this very tough time they have ahead of them,” added Casey.
