Disaster Risk Management Spokesperson Wilfred Solomons-Johannes said no person sustained any injuries and the circumstances surrounding the second fire are unknown at this stage.
Two separate fires occurred in
Phillip on Thursday which left seven people homeless.
The fires occurred in Marcus Garvey
Informal Settlement and Siyahlala Informal
Settlement.
It is believed that the one fire was
caused by a short circuit in electrical wiring.

Disaster Risk Management Solomons-Johannes
added that they are assisting the victims to re-build their homes as well as to
provide with social relief.
