One person died and another injured in an accident in Johannesburg

ER24 paramedics have confirmed that a man has been killed and a woman has been left critically injured. 

This is after two vehicles collided into each other on the N1 north highway in Johannesburg. 

The exact details of the cause of the accident will be the subject of a police investigation. 

ER24 Spokesperson Vanessa Jackson said when paramedics arrived at the scene they found that the driver of the other vehicle had died and the other driver was inured.

Jackson also said the injured driver was stabilsed at the scene before being transported to Charllote Maxeke hospital for further care.
