The Congress of South African Trade Union in the Western Cape said it is surprised that the Mayor still tries to present the City of Cape Town as well as run the city in the face of growing criticism.

Cosatu’s Tony Ehrenreich said the City’s Service Delivery and Budget Report is a shame in respect of the manner that it responds to service delivery priorities.

Ehrenreich said the City is trying to deliver services to areas of the rich people and the province has a problem of gangsterism but the City has not done much in solving the problem.

He further urged the City authorities to focus on the communities that need more attention not the white areas as they have been doing.
