The African Christian Democratic Party in the Western Cape has welcomed the opening of the Lentegeur police station.

ACDP Provincial Leader Ferlon Christians said Police Minister Nathi Mthethwa must continue to open additional police stations around the Cape to aid in curbing the violence and many crimes plaguing the Cape Flats.

Christians said the ACDP urged government to open more police stations.

He added that the community and authorities need to take back the streets from the criminals.
