The African Christian Democratic Party in the Western Cape is calling on MEC of Education Donald Grant to buy new computers for the Bishop Lavis School.

This is after a school in the area was burgled and computers stolen.

ACDP Provincial Leader Ferlon Christians said they are demanding answers from the Department as to what has been done in response to the theft in terms of securing the school.

Christians said the ACDP in the Western Cape is very shocked and concerned about learners at the school that sit without computers and have to rely on neighbours.

He further called on MEC Grant to stop spending money on court cases and prioritise education and the community and also the community and businesses should help please assist and donate computers.
