The Democratic Alliance has challenged the South African National Roads Agency Limited to release the latest communications cost figures for e-tolling in Gauteng.

DA MP of Transport Ian Ollis said Sanral’s Spokesperson Vusi Mona has denied that they will be spending half a billion on advertising.

Ollis said the e-tolls are not in the best interest of the people of Gauteng or the rest of South Africa.

He added that the DA is calling on Sanral to be open and honest about the toll fees and they state on the record on how much are they going to spend on this whole project.
