The People Against Gangsterism and Drugs said there is a possibility that they will sue the police for wrongful arrest.

This comes after its National Coordinator Abdus Salaam Ebrahim was arrested for allegedly being connected in a triple murder.

Pagad Spokesperson Cassiem Parker said the arrest was a conspiracy against them by the police.

Parker added that their position have vindicated from release without charges, now the police are saying they are provisionally withdrawing the charges.

Their attorney’s are working to get the charges withdrawn completely and if the case is cleared they will consider action against police for wrongful arrest to them and to anyone out there.
