Premier of the North West Thandi Modise said she is concerned about the misrepresentation of traditional leaders in the province.

This is after meetings of traditional leaders have been held under the pretext that such meetings are convened by Premier Modise and will be addressed by her.

Premier Modise’s Spokesperson Lesiba Kgwele said that effort will be spared to get to the bottom of this and who is behind this agenda.

“The office of the premier has convened that the objective of those convening such meetings, is to spoil the excellent relationship that the provincial government and in particular that premier Modise has with the North West House of Traditional Leaders and traditional leadership across the province,” added Kgwele.
