Numsa to decide on continuation of strike

The National Office Bearers of the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa will be convening a special auto National Shop stewards Council today. 

This as strikes in the automobile manufacturing sector intensifies. 

Numsa Spokesperson Castro Ngobese said that as Numsa they will be convening the national shop stewards council in order to get the feedback from their shop stewards.

“Just to get some feedback on whether our members had accepted or rejected the offer,” added Ngobese.

He explains on Wednesday they are planning to come to a final decision with regards to the strike will continue or whether the strike will be suspended and workers to return to work.
