The Minister of Agriculture,
Forestry and Fisheries Tina-Joemat-Petterson has extended the process for the
distribution of fishing rights application form for additional fourteen days.
The department said the extended
process is to make sure that applicants are assisted in understanding how to
correctly complete the forms.
Deputy Director General Desmond
Stevens said the areas have been expanded and extended for everyone to be able
to apply for these fishing rights.
Stevens added that they will also
assist people in filling those forms and every one has an opportunity to apply
for these rights because it is a national resource.
