The African Christian Democratic Party on Wednesday called on Mayor Patricia de Lille to do everything to relocate flood victims.

Mayor de Lille on Tuesday relocated residents living in the Kosovo informal settlement in Philippi, which is prone to flooding.

ACDP’s Provincial Leader said Ferlon Christians said they are asking the Mayor to do everything in her power to help the people in Philippi.

Christians said nobody deserves to live in homes that are flooded. This follows heavy rain which has affected the Cape in the past week.
