Winde said they have now separated the possible relocating of a casino to a much wider public participation process.

“And we have implemented a new tax that we were loosing the income prior to the ending of the tax regime and this brings another R40 million into the coffers of the Western Cape government,” added Winde.

He also added that they will then be able to appropriate during their budget process to be best spent in the interest of the people of the province.
