Off duty security officers who are deployed at the University of Cape Town on Tuesday embarked on a protest action.

They raised several grievances including alleged victimization of certain workers representatives.

G4S has denied all allegations against it.

G4S Spokesperson Sibongile Modiba said the G4S strongly denies all allegations and concerns have been raised with the university management.

Modida added that the employees have gone through all the necessary steps with the employers and service delivery within UCT was not affected.
