Green Peace Germany member, Martin Kaiser says after a weeks of negotiations both ministers and head of states must now engage in finding ambitious outcomes for the negotiations in Durban.
The NGO member spoke today about this weeks central discussions surrounding COP17.
Kaiser expressed how the negotiations are in ‘a big crisis because of industrialised countries delaying decisions.
The main issues with the Kyoto Protocol are the legal forms as there might be a new timeline binding the parties. Kaiser says developed countries should take responsibility as they emit the most CO2. #COP17
