Cape Peninsula University of Technology to increase fees

The Cape Peninsula University of Technology is increasing the fees for 2012 academic year.

The institution`s spokesperson Thami Nkwanyana says the increase in fees is caused by the operating costs in residencies.

The South African Students Organisation has called for the university management to reverse its decision.

The university increased the registration fees from three-thousand –four hundred-Rands to five-thousands-Rands.
