The Pretoria Regional Court today found out that one of the five men arrested for the murder of Pretoria mother Chanelle Henning received a call from her ex-husband a couple of days before her death.
Captain Petrus van der Spuy the investigating officer reported that phone records showed that on the weekend of November 6th 2011 Andre Gouws received a call from Nico Henning's phone.
Van der Spuy was testifying in the State's bid to prevent Gouws from getting bail.
It is said that evidence heard in the court earlier during the trial was that someone called to instruct Gouws to postpone the hit that was scheduled for that weekend as Chanelle Henning had given birth.
