The victim allegedly fell through the gap between two train carriages and landed on the tracks.
Metrorail`s Regional Manager Lindelo Matya said the man`s right leg was caught between the wheel and the track.
It is alleged that the victim was traveling without a train ticket.
Matya urged all train commuters to buy train tickets before boarding the train.
