It is expected that President Jacob Zuma’s recent trip to the United States has cost tax payers more than R10 million.

It emerged this morning that not one but two aircrafts followed Zuma’s presidential jet to
New York.
At first, the Defence Ministry denied this statement saying that the shadow aircraft had only traveled as far as the Canary Islands.

However, on Friday Chief of the Air Force Carlos Gagiano confirmed that the shadow plane landed at JFK and caused miscommunication between himself and the defence force.
