The Hanover Park Community Healthcare Centre in conjunction with Allied Healthcare Practitioners hosted their annual Walk for Life event today.
The walk was about people living with chronic pain and chronic diseases of lifestyle.
Communications officer of the Western Cape Department of Health Sithembiso Magubane said the 5 km health walk started at the Lansdowne Bridge and ended off at the Hanover Park swimming pool.
He added that the walk aims to create awareness about chronic conditions and the positive lifestyle changes the community can make.
