The finance union Sasbo has encouraged their staff not to buy the controversial e-tags.
The union also called on their 70 000 members not purchase the e-tags.
The general secretary of Sasbo, Shaun Oelschig said they are against tolling of highways because of inflation and the impact of jobs.
He added that they are also concerned about various aspects of the process in terms of how it came about.
The union is also concerned about the appointment of peace officers before proper enforcement measures have been implemented.
