World’s top film schools to meet in Cape Town

AFDA the school of motion picture and live performances will host the CILECT bi annual in Cape Town.CILECT is an association of more than 140 film and television  schools across the world.

The Congress theme “UbuntuFilmEducation” has been chosen to focus on sharing and collaborations between institutions ,lecturers and students.

According to Joey Fourie of AFDA CILECT represents the “brains trust” responsible for ensuring the growth and development of the film field worldwide.

Mathole Motshekga and Ronnie Apteker will be the keynote speakers.
