Johannesburg Water said yesterday that workmen worked around the clock to make sure the residents of Diepsloot receive fresh water.
Most parts of the Township were without water yesterday morning.
After a sewage spill in the area, the Township was left without water.
Spokesperson for Johannesburg Water Millicent Kwabe said water was restored in four areas.
She added that work will continue throughout the weekend to fix the problem.
