50 houses who were damaged in the torrential rains and heavy storms that hit
several villages across the province on Tuesday.

Premier’s spokesperson Lesiba Kgwele adds
that the Department of human settlements has been activated to conduct the
first means of damage infrastructure, while Safa is on standby to provide
emergency food grants to the affected households.
