This morning over 300 people have already casted their votes in the Tafelsig, Kilimanjaro area. Bush Radio’s Correspondent Brenda Leonard says everything is running smooth as residents keep coming in the voting stations.
Leonard who is in the vicinity says “speaking to the presiding officer in Tafelsig, about 357 people have voted by 09:00 am.
She says “This is one of the biggest voting stations because it has got Tafelsig community hall and two mobile tents as well”.
She says “before that I went to ward 81 to see other voting stations. It seems like people are voting and there is about 30-50 people in the que and there’s political party’s information tables outside voting stations”.
Meanwhile in Uitsig ward 22, voting stations opened on time. Bush Radio’s Correspondent Natasha Siqaza says, presiding officers have confirmed the running smooth of election in that area.
