of the disappearance of six-year-old Joshlin Smith, but a report by newspaper, Die Burger, suggests that the
blood-stained clothing was found in a spot where one of the suspects arrested
in connection with the missing girl was spotted.
The report by ‘Die Burger’ also mentions that a few other
clothing items were found, including a sheet and a knife. According to the
publication, the items were found in a blocked drain in Diazville.
‘’Kindly be advised that SAPS bears record of the clothing
pieces recently recovered in an identified area. We can confirm that it is now
in the possession of The South African Police Service. We confirm that the
investigation into the disappearance of the mentioned person as well as the
investigation into the circumstances surrounding the clothing continues,’’ said
