A fire occurred on Sunday in Samora
Machel informal settlement which left four shacks destroyed and three people
left homeless.
Disaster Management Service's
Wilfred Solomons-Johannes said they have assisted the people with relief
aid.
Several fires occurred in Cape
Town
Solomons-Johannes added that the
cause of the fire is not known at this stage. However the Disaster Management
is appealing to residence to exercise caution when dealing with electric
appliances.
