R24 Spokesperson Christo Venter
said it is believed that the man was assisting a
crane when a mechanical failure occurred.
Venter added that the man sustained serious
injuries and ER24 paramedics declared him dead on the scene.

A man believed to be in his thirties
died today this is after a tree fell on him.
However the exact details of the cause of the accident will remain the
subject of a police investigation.
No other people were injured on the
scene.
