The Youth Commission says the recent investigation into the misuse of state assets and the forensic audit of the financial affairs of the Commission instructed by the premier carries the full support of the Commission.
The Commission also says that it wishes to clearly indicate that the alleged case of misuse of assets under investigation represents an exception to the rule of sound financial management that the Commission has establish since its inception.
In a press statement Commissioner Siyazi Tyatyam says, the Commission has called for a speedy conclusion of the process in order to protect the integrity of the Commission and the contribution it has made for youth development in the province.
“We also wish to thank the premier for taking action on these serious matters,’ says Commissioner Tyatyam.
