The Climate Action Network International talking about the issues surrounding the future of the Kyoto Protocol

The organisation Climate Action Network International (CAN) hosted a meeting today to update the media about the negotiation proceedings. The group addressed troubling topics concerning the Kyoto Protocol.
According to United States World Wide Fund for Nature (USWWF) spokesperson, Keya Chatterjee smaller islands are suffering with extreme weather events because leaders are still deciding on the future of the second commitment period.
She said politics is still the problem as many countries are not progressing as they should be. The group highlighted how smaller nations voices should be heard before next week when the ministers arrive.
Big political discussions commences next week as ministers arrive the 6th of December.#COP17
