The ANC in the Western Cape has strongly criticized the Cape Chamber of Commerce’s Michael Bagraim on Wednesday.

Bagraim stated that the MyCiti bus service should not be introduced to the Cape Flats areas such as Mitchell’s Plain and Khayelitsha.

The ANC says big business blocks economic development of Cape Town and the province.

ANC`s Fezile Calana says it is unfortunate that the MyCiti bus can not be extended to those areas, because the people in those areas can not afford.

Calana says this proves a very bad picture of Cape Town.
