Government says the Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Richard Baloyi will deliver a eulogy on its behalf at the special official funeral of former minister Sicelo Shiceka.
The service takes place this morning at the Standard Bank Arena in Johannesburg.
Shiceka will be laid to rest at the West Park Cemetery.
Shiceka passed away at the end of last month after a long illness.
