More than 300 South African National Parks field rangers embarked on a strike on the 3rd of February 2012.

The strike has been called-off, although there are still wage disputes.

The 300 field rangers are expected to return to work on Wednesday.

The Kruger National Park’s William Mabasa says that after numerous meetings with the representatives of the striking workers, it was agreed that the strike has to come to an end.

Mabasa also says that there will be a meeting on May 17th to discuss the grievances that caused the strike.
