Trade Union federation Cosatu says SA should celebrate May Day by highlighting the need for more jobs in the country.

Cosatu Spokesperson Patrick Craven says SA has the highest rates of income inequality in the world and the gap between the rich and poor is increasing at an alarming rate.

Craven also said that the workers need to celebrate this day and remember all those workers that have been lost in the struggle.

Craven added that this year the dominant issues are labor brokers and propose amendments to the labor laws.
