Today the Western Cape Health Minister Theuns Botha introduced the Cape Town Metro district health council.
The Ministers spokesperson Helene Rossouw says this council will be responsible for health services complaints and to communicate with the people in their district.
The council will represent the metro and ensure the organization of all health services with the City of Cape Town.
This concludes the process of establishing health councils in all 6 of the province’s districts.
