Earlier today the Mitchells Plain Hospital
The cause of the fire is still not known at this stage but witnesses says they heard an explosion before the fire start.
The single storey building burnt down but there were no injuries reported.
Western Cape Fire and Rescue Services Spokesperson Theo Layne says there are sections where the roof had collapsed.
Layne says firefighter are on the scene trying to bring the blaze under control.
