Mitchells Plain Police carried out several searches today and Wednesday which led to the arrest of 34 suspects for the possession of drugs.
On Wednesday afternoon Mitchell’s Plain Police members were doing routine patrols when they noticed a suspicious looking female near a known drug house.
The suspect was stopped and searched and members confiscated 20 straws of heroin and 10 small packets of tik.
A 27 year old women was arrested. The woman appeared yesterday in the Mitchell’s Plain Magistrate Court on charges of possession of drugs.
