Tourism Minister Marthinus van Schalkwyk announced the launch of the Domestic Tourism Growth Strategy in Cape Town today.
The department’s deputy director general Victor Tharage says tourism is a key driver of the economy.
The new strategy is aimed at getting South Africans to be tourists in their own country.The Minister says he is determined to promote and enhance domestic tourism
