Two men aged 25-and 27-years-old are due to appear in the Oudtshoorn magistrates’ court on Monday.

The two men were arrested on Friday morning during a joint crime prevention operation by the Attaqua K-9 (Oudtshoorn Dog Unit) and the George-Cluster Drug Intervention Team.

The Southern Cape police say that the aim of this operation was to effectively deal with the illegal use, abuse and the supply of drugs in the area.

The Southern Cape police say that information from the public led them to search a bus in Mossel Bay.

Police say that they found 19.2kg of dagga that was concealed in two suitcases between the luggage of the passengers.

The bus was enroute from Bloemfontein to Cape Town.
