Helen Zille still maintains that she never tried to recruit Zwelinzima Vavi for the Democratic Alliance.
Cosatu Spokesperson Tony Ehrenreich says the DA leader’s denial is a fear that the party is becoming irrelevant.
Ehrenreich says that as Cosatu they are convinced that Helen Zille did approach Vavi to join the party.
Ehrenreich says that the DA needs someone of Vavi`s stature to bring a political agenda.
